Description

Fantastic burnished SK 800 locomotive brought back from Germany during WWII dates from approx 1945. This version has burnished loco housing and black-painted tender, typical of the time during and after WWII when materials were scarce. Overall condition good; no zincpest to loco or noticeable cracks; tender has slight warping and small cracks but overall the metal is strong. Loco has all original parts, in unrestored condition, that show very little signs of use. Front lights replaced with red/green lights by previous owner. Includes original box “SK 800” and two instruction manuals from the time. A rare version of the SK 800!

Provenance: purchased from the family of the original owner in the USA.  The set was brought back from Germany after WWII.
