Description
Few collectors will recognize this rarity. For a short period of time before the war production “bruniert” locomotives, a painted version of the SK 800 was produced. This version was painted as shown by the small chips in the paint. Burnished versions are chemically colored so they do not have characteristic chips in the paint. This version also has white highlights on the”SK 800″ and “MARKLIN” inscriptions, something that no other SK 800 version from this time had. Overall an incredible version, seldom seen, in rough condition in some areas but a nice display piece.
