Description
Rare version 1 of the RS 700 E-Locomotive produced in 1935 and possibly early 1936. This version 1 features a cab slightly taller in height and windows without the cross bar like in later versions, an absolute beauty! Condition: steps missing (on the Version 1 the steps are not reinforced from the factory, so they are almost always broken off); frame “forks” broke off where they attach to the outer frame, so this area was reinforced with a metal bar for strength. Runs and reverses – internal motor components are strong and good!
Includes replica box RS 700, inner paper and straw hay packaging similar to the original.
