Fantastic and rare Marklin R 700 LNER model for the British market. This is version 1 of the R 700 LNER with red painted frame and black claw-coupler tender produced around 1937. These locomotives of the LNER (green) and LMS (red) variants are highly sought after due to their short production period for British export, stopped early due to WWII. Overall good condition with paint wear to buffer, frame siding, and tender (residue from the box wrappings).
