Marklin SK 800 K pre-war Black 1940 with 1947 internals

Description

Rare and early SK 800 K locomotive; 7 splints on handrails (pre-war), white lettering to side cabin “SK 800” and early black-painted housing; loco dates from the 1940s pre-war period. Overall condition very good; general wear to paint. Locomotive seems to have been overhauled after the War and internal components were replaced with parts from the SK 800 version from 1947. 3 tender wheels also replaced and one original remains from the pre-war period. A rare piece for the collector who wants to collect every known version of the SK 800!
