Marklin SK 800 in Original Box from 1945

Description

This fantastic SK 800 locomotive runs well – as seen in video, purchased as part of a collection with 34X series cars, 473/6 and RS 800 from the period and came with an original receipt (dated 1939?)!  The boxes were stamped both for 1942/43 and 1945 showing the changing of production during the war time.  Tender slightly warped – small chips and cracks, with original box (tattered, one box flap missing from top), corrugated wrapping and paper wrappings for tender and loco.  Box labeled “SK 800.”   Fantastic loco!

Provenance: purchased part of a collection brought back to the USA in the 1940s after WWII.  Likely purchased in 1939 or during the war time as dated by the receipt.
