Marklin Societe Wagon Reefer Wagon

This is a Gauge 1 train car produced by Märklin, a well-known German manufacturer of model trains and accessories. The model represents a refrigerated freight car labeled “Société des Wagons Frigorifiques,” which translates to “Refrigerated Wagon Company” in French. It features a white body with blue detailing, vertical stripes, and text in a classic style. The roof is slightly rounded and painted silver/metallic, and the undercarriage is black with detailed wheels and couplings. This piece Märklin’s attention to realism and craftsmanship.  The condition overall is very good, with one side door partially repainted and some chipping throughout.  A rare find!
